So I was talking to Claudio, a very good friend of mine from Brazil about the new site (we met when he stayed with me as a Servas Traveler two years ago) and he mentioned our site to one of the Servas coordinators there, Debora. I am pleased to present our new Servas Toronto Blog. This is something that I’ve been thinking about for awhile and I’m glad to have some assistance from our members. I will be introducing my co-editors as soon as they confirm that they’ve accepted.
Please remember this blog is intended for OUR community. That is Toronto Servas Hosts. But I am also hoping that as Servas Travellers, us Toronto Hosts will also tell each other about our varying adventures around the globe. I also hope that you will encourage your visitors to post about their adventures in the Visitors section. I think all of us would love to hear feedback on our wonderful land.
A bit of housekeeping, since many of our members are hestitant about our personal information being online, please refrain from using last names on any posts. If you like, you can refer to the host numbers in the host list (eg. Bill, host #999). Then we can look it up if we don’t already know who it is. Also, please send any concerns to me or post them here as a comment. Please also remember that this is a new endeavour for us and a learning experience for all.
